Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Fremont, CA - Onsite

Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extensions)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to support end-to-end supply and demand planning for hardware and IT asset categories. This role is critical to driving delivery performance, optimizing inventory, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

You will leverage forecasting methodologies, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate demand planning, efficient inventory management, and timely fulfillment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Tier-1 ERP systems and demand/supply planning tools
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPIM are a plus

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and workflows
  • Experience working with enterprise planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, large dataset analysis)
  • Experience with vendor/supplier management
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, consumer electronics, or related categories
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cyclical demand forecasts for IT hardware and accessory categories using defined forecasting methodologies
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to track, measure, and continuously improve forecast accuracy
  • Utilize planning systems and inventory tools to optimize supply planning, procurement, and inventory levels
  • Support supply planning strategies for existing products, new product introductions (NPI), and product phase-outs
  • Coordinate closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders and resolve supply issues
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on inventory, demand planning, and key metrics
  • Apply data-driven decision-making to optimize day-to-day supply chain operations
  • Manage end-to-end supply and demand planning across assigned product categories
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and inventory optimization
  • Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs (forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, etc.)
  • Support new product launches and lifecycle management activities
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and inventory imbalances
  • Manage escalations from internal stakeholders and external partners
