Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of creative services and translation of the AWS brand for the Global Events portfolio, including re:Invent — encompassing event experience, on-site brand expression, and messaging that ladder to brand foundations
  • Independently manage end-to-end creative workflows for complex onsite campaigns, toolkits, and playbooks of large-scale initiatives with global impact
  • Drive consistent adoption of AWS brand guidance among cross-Amazon partners contributing to events, ensuring brand adherence across all event dimensions
  • Develop and optimize the marketing and creative services approach for event brand moments, auditing effectiveness and surfacing insights that influence broader brand and event strategy
  • Proactively partner with key event stakeholders to define success criteria and measurement approach for event brand activations, connecting initiatives to drive brand perception, awareness, and consideration
  • Manage campaign alignment meetings and creative reviews with senior stakeholders and partners; provide clear, concise communication (briefs, creative reviews, MBR/QBR, go-to-market plans, post-mortems)
  • Proactively mitigate risk and manage scope to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery; clear blockers (path to green) and escalate appropriately
  • Deep dive into project requirements, gaining understanding of needs for projects that may be ambiguous
  • Partner with and manage internal creative teams and external agency partners from concept through delivery across multiple digital content types
  • Manage creative asset production and delivery across digital and brand channels, including localization workflows

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
  • Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
  • Experience across affiliate marketing, PPC, SEM and social media advertising

Preferred

  • Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
  • Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience using complex financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform strategic business decisions and influence cross-functional stakeholders, with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
  • Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management
  • Experience managing large-scale brand activations or events, ideally including tentpole moments such as re:Invent
  • Track record leading cross-functional creative teams and external agencies from concept through delivery
