Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the Narrative: Raise the bar for B2B storytelling, turning complex solutions into relatable, human experiences.
  • The Interviewer: Lead insightful interviews with everyone from C-Suite execs to end-users, digging deep to find the "aha!" moments and emotional hooks.
  • AI Orchestration: Masterfully use AI tools to build comprehensive briefs and generate longform content, then apply your editorial "magic touch" to bring it home.
  • Tone Guardian: Work fluently with existing brand guides
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to build video scripts that succinctly build emotion and drive behavioral change.
  • Client Consultant: Confidently discuss narrative strategy and copy choices with clients, explaining the "why" behind the "what."

Requirements

  • A Narrative Lens: Experience writing B2B success stories and case studies that balance cold, hard logic with warm, human storytelling.
  • Data-Driven Curiosity: Skill in extracting the "hero numbers"—the 25% increase in efficiency or the $2M ROI—and framing them within a compelling story.
  • Editorial Excellence: A background in journalism or high-end content creation, with a focus on editing longform copy for flow, impact, and "soul."
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: An obsession with how AI can extend human capabilities, rather than replace them. You’re excited to experiment with prompt engineering and AI workflows.
  • Empathy & Professionalism: Comfort running interviews via video calls, demonstrating the ability to build rapport quickly and keep a session on-track.
  • Clarity & Simplicity: A "knowledge nerd" who takes pride in translating complex technology (Cloud, Security, SaaS) into simple, jargon-free prose.
  • Resilience & Collaboration: A love for the "creative rub"—collaborating with global teams and refining work based on stakeholder feedback to reach the best possible result.
  • Logic & Imagination: The ability to see the strategic impact of a sentence while still appreciating the beauty of a well-placed metaphor.
