Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and help develop creative briefs and messaging frameworks
  • Partner with a designer to develop creative concepts and execute them for specific target audiences to drive business results
  • Proactively stay on top of trends and best practices, and bring new ideas to the table
  • If it has words on it, you're responsible for it: site content, email, ads, blog posts, packaging, scripts, product descriptions, etc.
  • Work through multiple iterations of concepts to arrive at the best idea and execution
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, exploration, and experimentation, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Take ideas and run with them – be comfortable working with minimal supervision/direction

Requirements

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule coming onsite to our Draper, UT office 2-3 times a week
  • A solid portfolio of strategic and creative work demonstrating excellent writing and editing skills, and conceptual thinking in web, product, brand messaging, promotional copy, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience working on marketing or advertising campaigns, digital, and social media on a creative team
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in advertising/communications or related field
  • Ability to take creative direction, interpret it, and create new ideas
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with creatives, marketers, and product managers on a fast-paced team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while communicating workload and resource needs
  • Ability to own projects, drive them forward independently, and take initiative
