Responsibilities

• The MIT will help lead employees through daily operations, including bookkeeping, customer service, marketing, sales and profitability, scheduling, inventory control, and employee training and development.
• The MIT will bring a positive, energetic attitude to each shift, encourage teamwork, support employees, and help create a welcoming environment for customers.
• This position plays an important role in building a strong team and maintaining the friendly, professional image of Farmers Co-op Oil Company.
• The MIT will work primarily in a C-store and food service environment and will spend considerable time traveling to various store locations within the area.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support store operations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 3-5 years of progressive retail management experience, with a strong emphasis on food service operations in a convenience or retail setting.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations and leading teams to achieve performance goals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in retail management software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned area.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, and type and enter data promptly.
• Be able to react to a fire by lifting a fire extinguisher weighing 25 pounds and moving it to the fire area.
• Have sufficient visual acuity to operate handheld devices.
