Content Writer - WFH

Responsibilities

• Create digital content across formats, including articles, video scripts, infographic text, and other written assets.
• Optimize existing client content to improve relevance, authority, and search performance.
• Research topics and develop content briefs for new content creation.
• Apply SEO best practices, including keyword research and content optimization.
• Consider answer engine and AI-driven discovery when developing and improving content.
• Use human-in-the-loop content creation workflows, applying editorial judgment and quality checks to AI-assisted work.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, and the content project manager to coordinate deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to editorial guidelines, content standards, and playbooks for client engagements.
• Research content trends and developments to inform points of view, blog posts, and weekly staff meetings.
• Fact-check information and ensure content is accurate, clear, and well-supported.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on digital writing experience.
• Reporting experience and knowledge of fact-checking best practices.
• Practical experience with SEO, including keyword research and current optimization practices.
• Knowledge of emerging AI optimization (AIO) practices and an interest in keeping up with developments in search and AI-driven content discovery.
• Comfort working with human-in-the-loop content creation processes and a willingness to adapt as AI technology evolves.
• Excellent writing, research, grammar, and editing skills.
• Ability to produce clear, engaging content across different subjects and formats, from long-form features to short news items and detailed eBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with colleagues and freelancers remotely.

Preferred

• Experience writing about technology and/or finance.
