Content Writer

Responsibilities

• Research,write, edit, and optimize content across blogs, website pages, emails, social media, and promotional materials
• Adapt tone and style to align with brand guidelines while targeting diverse audience segments
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to develop content that supports campaigns and business goals
• Produce compelling headlines, meta descriptions, and clear calls-to-action
• Perform competitor and industry research to inform content strategy and topics
• Optimize content for readability, SEO, and engagement using best practices
• Manage editorial calendar, set deadlines, and ensure on-time delivery
• Reinforce brand consistency through standardized terminology, formatting, and voice
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats (long-form articles, social posts, briefs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter, preferably in the fitness, wellness, or health space
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a strong eye for detail
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization tools
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, user-friendly content
• Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Proficiency with content management systems, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams and receive feedback constructively
