Responsibilities

• Write persuasive advocacy content and petitions
• Draft donor communications and stewardship messages
• Create email campaigns and newsletters
• Develop website and social media content
• Research legislation and animal welfare issues to ensure accuracy
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, tone, and consistency
• Collaborate with a remote team across time zones

Requirements

• Exceptional written English skills are required
• Paid writing experience with animal protection, animal welfare, or animal rights organizations
• Experience writing advocacy petitions, email marketing campaigns, donor communications, and website/social media content
• Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
• Strong research ability and attention to detail
• Familiarity with digital communication tools (Google Docs, email platforms, CMS tools)
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
• Passion for animal protection and systemic change
• English (Required)
