Content Teacher-MathStetson School, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation

Pay Range: $59,980 to $75,730 (based on MA teacher license level)  

New Hire Sign on Bonus $10,000 for fully licensed applicants /$5,000 for applicants requiring a licensure waiver!

We are seeking a dedicated Math Content Teacher to provide specialized instruction in a special education setting for secondary students. The Math Content Teacher delivers engaging, individualized math instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks while supporting students’ academic, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. We are looking for someone who can think creatively, meet students where they are at, and adapt instruction to support each student’s unique learning style and strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver instruction aligned with MA Curriculum Frameworks and student needs
  • Implement differentiated, hands-on instructional strategies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs
  • Participate in ISP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support behavior plans and create a structured, safe classroom environment
  • Supervise students and promote positive behavior using supportive strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services, or related field
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with computer-based systems (IEP platforms, Microsoft Office, reporting tools)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Preliminary, Initial, or Professional license (Massachusetts) in Math 8-12 required. If not licensed, must meet waiver eligibility, apply for licensure and obtain licensure post-hire.
