Responsibilities

• Own and manage organic content for social media
• Develop creative concepts, campaigns, recurring series, and social-first ideas
• Write scripts for short-form video, sketches, interviews, product content, and educational pieces
• Direct photo and video staff on what to shoot and how the final content should come together
• Write social captions and platform-specific copy
• Build and maintain the social content calendar
• Turn products, industry knowledge, company culture, and everyday office moments into engaging content
• Develop informational B2B content that makes complicated or niche topics interesting and approachable
• Occasionally write longer-form content such as articles, blogs, or website copy
• Assist with email marketing, including campaign concepts, copy, and content

Requirements

• You’re equal parts content marketer, writer, creative, and internet person.
• You understand what makes content feel native to social rather than like an ad that happened to get posted on Instagram. You can recognize a good joke, write a strong hook, explain a technical product without making it boring, and give a videographer enough direction to bring an idea to life.
• Experience with social media or content marketing is important, but we care just as much about taste, writing ability, creativity, and initiative.
• You should be comfortable working independently, pitching ideas that might be a little weird, and figuring things out as you go.
