Job Summary

Own the early-stage content engine for a social podcasting platform, shaping blog, social, email, and in-app messaging that showcase new features and listening trends, while coordinating planning, research, and community-building efforts.

  • Content Planning and Execution: Draft and align multi-channel content with brand voice and user needs.
  • Creator and Community Research: Build calendars and assets from foundational insights into podcast ecosystems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing and product to convert insights into engaging campaigns and events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • support the creation and execution of content initiatives that engage listeners and promote the platform.
  • help draft blog posts, social media content, email copy, and in-app messaging that highlight new features, listening trends, and curated podcast collections.
  • assist with content planning, basic research on podcast and creator communities, and updating content calendars and assets.
  • collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging with brand voice and user needs.
  • track basic performance metrics for campaigns.
  • on-site role based in New York, NY, where you will work closely with the team to brainstorm ideas, support events or campaigns, and contribute to community-building efforts.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Foundational skills in Web Content Writing and Writing, with an interest in crafting engaging copy for digital channels.
  • Interest or introductory experience in Content Strategy and Content Management, including organizing and scheduling content across platforms.
  • Enthusiasm for podcasts, audio storytelling, and social media trends, with a curiosity about how audiences discover and share content.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Ability to work on-site in New York, NY, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Preferred

  • Basic familiarity with social media tools, analytics dashboards, or email platforms is a plus, as is any experience with community engagement or campus organizations.
