Job Summary

Own the short form content engine for a local ice cream catering brand across in-store and on-location shoots, with a focus on unscripted storytelling, audience engagement, and local search visibility.

Content Ownership: Plan, shoot, and edit 4-6 weekly videos across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts to drive shop traffic.
Local Discovery: Create content and optimize for local SEO signals to boost rankings for terms like “Ice cream near me.”

Job Description

Responsibilities

Plan and execute a weekly content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
Identify trends, create concepts, and consistently produce engaging content that will drive traffic to our shops and catering
Travel between locations to film content regularly
Capture customer reactions, team culture & behind-the-scenes, product shots (scoops, toppings, specials)
Create 4-6 short-form videos per week
Interview guests/customers, team members, and managers
Capture authentic, unscripted moments and tell stories that highlight our brand, people, and community
Support Google Business Profiles by uploading photos & videos and posting updates and events
Create content that helps us rank for keywords like “Ice cream near me” and “Best dessert spots in [town]”
Attend and capture in-store events, fundraisers, and community activations; be available during weekends and key events

Requirements

Must submit a portfolio or social media examples
Experience with editing tools (CapCut, Adobe, Final Cut, etc.)
Reliable transportation
Willingness to travel between shop locations
Flexible schedule -- weekends and events are required
Comfortable working in fast-paced, public-facing environments

Preferred

Experience with local SEO/Google Presence (Google Business Profiles)
