Job Summary

Own the athlete social content engine: create and optimize content across Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube; drive brand-building campaigns, live event storytelling, and data-driven improvements for engagement and follower growth.

  • Growth Ownership: manage content calendars, post scheduling, community interaction, and trend-informed optimization.
  • Campaign & Events: design campaigns and behind-the-scenes coverage at sports events to boost athlete visibility.
  • Analytics & Iteration: analyze platform metrics to iterate on content formats, captions, and posting times.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and curate compelling content for clients’ social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop tailored social media strategies aligned with personal branding and organizational goals.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring engagement metrics.
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize content performance.
  • Design and execute social media campaigns to promote athletes' brands and increase their digital following.
  • Attend sporting events and games to capture behind-the-scenes content that enhances social media storytelling.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create and implement targeted advertising campaigns across social media platforms.
  • Analyze social media analytics to evaluate campaign success and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging, high-quality content.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep passion for sports and awareness of current sports trends and news.
  • Availability to attend events and games, including some weekends and evenings.
  • Must be located within the United States for remote work compliance.
