Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Travel across Virginia to client locations to capture original photo and video content that aligns with each client's brand identity and campaign objectives.
  • Plan and execute on-location shoots, managing lighting, composition, and subject direction to produce professional-quality visuals.
  • Edit and deliver photo assets ready for use across digital and social channels, with fast turnaround times.
  • Shoot, edit, and deliver short-form and long-form video content, including reels, event coverage, and brand stories.
  • Design branded graphics for use in content calendars, social media posts, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate closely with Siddall account managers and strategists to ensure all content aligns with client brand guidelines and campaign goals.
  • Organize and archive all content assets in shared team systems following established naming and storage conventions.
  • Communicate proactively with the team regarding shoot schedules, deliverable timelines, and any on-site challenges.
  • Assist in ideation and completion of client content calendars.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in photography, videography, or multimedia content creation, preferably in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of photo, video, and graphic design work required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator (or comparable tools such as Final Cut Pro, Capture One, or Canva Pro).
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Ability to plan and execute shoots independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working directly with clients and agency staff.
  • Reliable personal transportation and a valid Virginia driver's license; ability and willingness to travel statewide on a regular basis.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working at a marketing, PR, or advertising agency.
  • Familiarity with content calendar tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Later.
  • Drone photography or videography certification (FAA Part 107) is a plus.
  • Experience creating content for regulated or government-adjacent industries.
