Job Description
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content on-site for client accounts
- Follow curated shot list information
- Execute content aligned with each brand’s tone, style, and strategy
- Work efficiently in live environments including batch content shoots, events, and professional settings
- Willingness to learn and interested in social media, content creation, and media production
- Capture a mix of lifestyle, detail, and environment-focused content
- Collaborate with the Sloane Strategy team on content direction when needed
- Ability to capture high-quality photography using a professional camera (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Based in the DC, MD, or VA area with reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule with availability for shoots during business hours, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and movement
- Experience shooting iPhone-first content, whether through professional work, internships, personal content capturing, or a strong personal portfolio
- Has basic knowledge of utilizing tech tools: mini mic with iPhone, tripods, gimbals, etc.
- Ability to adapt quickly across different brand aesthetics
- Must be comfortable working independently on-site while maintaining brand standards
- Reliable and punctual for scheduled shoots
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and shoot days ranging from 1-8 hour durations
- Organized, reliable, and professional on-site
- Photography experience or background (preferred but not required)
Preferred
- Prior brand or client-facing content experience is preferred, but not required.
