Job Summary
Own fast, end-to-end short-form video creation for a beauty brand with rapid ideation, filming, editing, and hooks that drive views and retention across TikTok and Reels.
- End-to-end Production: ideation, filming, editing, hooks, captions, and storytelling angles
- Platform and format mastery: cross-post across TikTok and Reels with trend adaptation and content repurposing
- Performance optimization: test formats and optimize for views, retention, and conversions
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create 3–5 short-form videos daily (TikTok, Reels)
- Handle end-to-end production: ideation, filming, editing
- Write hooks, captions, and storytelling angles
- Repurpose content across platforms
- Stay on top of trends and adapt quickly
- Test different content formats (UGC, POV, hooks, storytelling)
- Assist with content shoots (if LA-based)
- Optimize content based on performance (views, retention, conversion)
- Strong understanding of TikTok / Reels content
- Basic editing skills (CapCut / Premiere / Final Cut)
- Able to produce content FAST (speed > perfection)
- Comfortable on camera (preferred)
- Portfolio of short-form content
- Experience with beauty / skincare
- Understanding of hooks, retention, and virality
- Experience creating ads or converting content
- Flexible schedule
