Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, follow-up tasks, and meeting coordination
  • Track priorities, deadlines, editorial timelines, and ongoing projects
  • Assist with event logistics, guest coordination, and travel planning
  • Organize notes, action items, and partnership communications
  • Serve as a liaison between the Publisher & CEO, Editor in Chief, partners, sponsors, contributors, and guests to help maintain communication flow and project alignment
  • Help coordinate communication, scheduling, and follow-up between editorial, media, and operational initiatives across the California Leaders platform
  • Attend events alongside leadership to assist with execution and coverage
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, photos, short-form videos, and social media moments
  • Coordinate photography and videography coverage when needed
  • Assist with live event support, guest management, and media coordination

Preferred

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
  • Experience with LinkedIn and social media content strategy
  • Basic photography and videography knowledge
  • Event coordination or media experience
  • Interest in leadership, business, media, public affairs, or community engagement
