Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop content ideas surrounding Chicago Sky Foundation initiatives—including player appearances, community events, and fundraising campaigns
  • Produce engaging content for the Chicago Sky Foundation's social media accounts that highlight community impact
  • Contribute to the integration of content and production for real-time use on game days
  • Create promotional materials using Canva, Adobe Suite, Capcut or other design tools, if applicable
  • Draft and schedule social and digital content posts to align with Chicago Sky and Chicago Sky Foundation's branding and messaging
  • Support website content updates to ensure accurate and engaging representation of the Chicago Sky Foundation's work
  • Assist with Chicago Sky community outreach initiatives, game day activations and department fundraising and administrative activities

Requirements

  • A strong interest in sports, nonprofits, marketing, social media, community engagement, and/or fundraising
  • Experience creating digital content or managing social media platforms
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) for content creation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to engage with fans, community partners, and event attendees as a brand ambassador in a reliable, punctual, and professional manner
  • Commitment to upholding the values and mission of the Chicago Sky and the Chicago Sky Foundation
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team to execute projects and able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in community outreach or administrative support is a plus but not required
