Drive business development for HomeWell Care Services by building and expanding referrals with hospitals and senior-care providers.

  • Build and manage referrals from hospitals, SNFs, and other senior-care providers.
  • Must-have: Valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Standout: Territory coverage across Lake County & The Villages with a company car.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing referral sources such as: Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Independent and Assisted Living Facilities, Rehab Centers, Home Health & Hospice Agencies, Senior centers, and other Community Organizations.
  • Travel throughout Lake County & The Villages meeting with professional referral sources
  • In-person, face-to-face visits with a minimum of 10-12 accounts per day
  • Coordinate with management on diverse marketing strategies and report field activity
  • Identify new opportunities for business growth
  • Demonstrate value for the health care organizations being visited
  • Attend senior-focused networking meetings, community events, and professional organizations.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and referral quotas
  • Pre-plan weekly routing and sales activities, maximizing efficiency and cost effectiveness of daily activities where possible; set goals for each sales call and prepare any needed materials
  • Complete the weekly sales report and submit it prior to weekly meetings
Requirements
  • Passion to help seniors live with dignity
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or healthcare is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, results-oriented attitude and a commitment to achieving targets.
  • Excellent follow-up, planning, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
Preferred
  • Knowledge and previously established relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, home health and hospice agencies, and other community organizations in the San Antonio market
