Job Description

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the other Liaisons, assists with the development and refinement of marketing materials, website content, marketing collateral, competitive analyses, standard presentations, and departmental processes, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Along with the team, develops and maintains a strong and productive referral relationships, ensuring the organization is understood by the referral sources and educates them on the Hospital programs.
  • Liaisons assist the Director with market research activities in order to keep abreast of changing patient demographics in order to evaluate marketing and communication activities to the referral sources and community.
  • Community Liaisons will work as a team to develop and maintain strong business and referral relationships with physicians, discharge planners, insurance representatives and the medical community.
  • In order to maintain relationships with referral sources, community liaisons may need to be flexible regarding schedules for evening and weekend events.
  • In this role you will facilitate mobile level of care assessments for patients in other treatment settings for treatment options at Hampton Behavioral Health. This will require taking the lead in conducting level of care assessments on patients seeking evaluation for psychiatric treatment (with possible co-occurring substance abuse) Provide crisis and supportive contact with patients and families; Responsible for accurate and timely documentation; Coordinating with insurance companies for authorizations of recommended treatment.
  • Maintains facility’s presence in the community by regular attendance at community meetings such as SRC, PAC and mental health boards, along with other community groups as needed.
  • Maintain on-going relationships along with the other Liaisons by visiting each screening center on a consistent basis as designated by the Director of Community Resources.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, service excellence skills, able to work with the team on a consistent basis, and be committed to maintaining strong referral relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in clinically-related field, marketing or humanities, or licensed as RN.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical area.
  • Familiarity with South Jersey healthcare environment.
  • Military background preferred
  • Previous direct sales in marketing psychiatric services preferred, also familiar with personal computers.
  • Extensive travel involved within assigned to the Central & Northern Jersey Region
