Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for community partners, agencies, and local stakeholders within the assigned region.
  • Attend community meetings, health fairs, outreach events, and networking opportunities to promote organizational services.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with schools, service providers, nonprofits, and civic organizations.
  • Assist with planning and on-the-ground execution of regional events, outreach activities, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support logistics for tabling events, workshops, trainings, and community presentations.
  • Help coordinate volunteers, materials, and on-site needs during events.
  • Represent the organization professionally and positively in public-facing settings.
  • Share information about programs, services, and resources with families, partners, and community members.
  • Collect feedback and insights from the community and relay them to the Community Engagement Manager.
  • Track outreach activities, contacts, and event participation for the assigned region.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Services, or related field preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in community outreach, customer service, or public-facing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage diverse communities with cultural awareness and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and as part of a team.
  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Social Services, or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
