Partnership Development: Build and manage external collaborations with local communities, businesses, associations, nonprofits, and schools.
Community Engagement & Events: Design and execute events that connect the university with community groups and stakeholders.
Governance & Funding: Serve on advisory boards, set objectives, pursue funding, and measure impact.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to cultivate partnerships with external entities including local communities, businesses, associations, non-profits, and educational institutions; identify outreach opportunities that increase University reach and impact
Pursue opportunities to leverage University programming, services, and resources in response to identified community needs
Identify, design, and execute events that encourage engagement between the University and external community groups
Serve as a liaison and ambassador between University areas or units and the community including local government, local businesses, elected officials, and community groups
Participate on and/or lead government and community advisory boards
Direct engagement initiatives; define goals and objectives, identify funding sources, develop marketing strategies, and determine assessment methods

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
6+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
