Job Summary

Lead local Community Meet & Greets for The Brickers Foundation and own end-to-end event coordination, community engagement, and post-event follow-up.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure appropriate local venues for Community Meet & Greets.
  • Promote events through social media, community groups, local organizations, businesses, and word of mouth.
  • Serve as the primary local point of contact while hosting and facilitating welcoming Community Meet & Greets.
  • Introduce The Brickers Foundation, its work, and relevant initiatives to community members.
  • Guide discussions, listen to community feedback, and identify local needs, resources, organizations, leaders, and potential partners.
  • Collect participant feedback and maintain communication with the Foundation regarding community insights and follow-up opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit post-event recaps that highlight key discussions, community needs, organizations, potential opportunities, and recommendations, while representing The Brickers Foundation professionally.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and understand that Ambassadors may not make commitments on behalf of The Brickers Foundation, including promising funding, approving partnerships, committing the Foundation to projects, or signing agreements.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently coordinate and host community events.
  • Comfortable discussing The Brickers Foundation, its work, and the purpose of Community Meet & Greets.
  • Ability to engage comfortably with individuals from diverse backgrounds and facilitate community conversations.
  • Interest in supporting and strengthening local communities.
  • Ability to attend and support Community Meet & Greets and other local activities as needed.
  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom) and digital communication platforms.
  • Must be located within the United States and available to participate in local, in-person community events.
