Job Summary

Drive local, grassroots customer growth for GWI through door-to-door outreach, community events, and on-site partnerships.

  • Own and execute local sales activities, events, and hyper-local campaigns to drive customer growth.
  • Must-have: Strong experience in direct or community-based sales and outreach.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive residential and small business customer acquisition through: Door-to-door outreach
  • Community events and tabling
  • Local sponsorships and partnerships
  • Referral and neighborhood-based sales efforts
  • Represent GWI at town meetings, select board meetings, and community gatherings
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders
  • Establish and maintain GWI visibility in key community hubs
  • Execute grassroots marketing initiatives including flyer distribution, signage placement, and hyper-local campaigns
  • Support acquisition and retention strategies within MDUs and residential developments
  • Partner with property managers and leasing offices for move-in, referral, and on-site sales programs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in Residential or direct sales
  • Experience in community-based marketing or outreach
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, utilities, or subscription services
  • Experience in property, housing, or MDU sales environments
  • Strong familiarity with the local communities served is highly preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
