Job Description

Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with internal teams to develop and implement community engagement initiatives and recruit eligible patients.
Develops strategies to increase community involvement and engagement.
Communicates with community members to understand their needs and expectations, builds and maintains positive relationships with community members and stakeholders, and identifies opportunities for community partnerships and collaborations.
Works with marketing and communications teams to promote community events and initiatives.
Assists in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to promote community engagement.
Organizes and manages community events, workshops, and meetings.
Coordinates with volunteers, managing their tasks and schedules, and community service providers.
Monitors and reports on community issues and feedback.
Collaborates with other team members to promote the organization’s services and offerings.
Represents the organization at community events and meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field is required.
An associate’s degree with two (2) years of community outreach experience (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
Valid Florida driver’s license.
Three (3) years of experience in community engagement is required.

Preferred

Two (2) years of leadership experience is preferred.
