Job Description

Responsibilities

  • - Preparedness Support: Assist with background research, news tracking and drafting initial messaging templates (talking points, Q&As).
  • - Operational Rigor & Process Optimization: Serve as the team’s organizational hub by establishing standardized workflows, maintaining operational calendars and implementing structured processes to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • - Centralized Resource Management & Operations: Maintain centralized team files, shared repositories and master calendars to ensure seamless resource access across the global team. Support day-to-day engagement with external vendors and help organize team training programs to drive continuous operational excellence.
  • - Strategic Projects Coordination: Track project timelines, action items and deliverables for key team initiatives, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
  • - Real-Time Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee daily media monitoring, risk assessments and sentiment reporting. Compile rapid-alert summaries and media coverage reports during breaking events or major announcements.
  • - Cross-Functional Administrative Support: Help coordinate review and approval workflows with cross-functional partners in Legal, Government Affairs and Marketing.
  • - AI & Media Tool Execution: Leverage media intelligence software (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) and generative AI writing tools to streamline media research, sentiment analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Political Science or related discipline.
  • - 3+ years of progressive professional communications experience (corporate or PR agency background preferred).
  • - Demonstrated experience with media monitoring platforms, research and project tracking.
  • - Portfolio of clear, well-written corporate communications samples (Q&As, briefing documents, articles, summaries).
  • - Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years of progressive professional communications experience (corporate or PR agency background preferred).
  • - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position. (GC/CITIZEN ONLY)
