Job Summary

Own the nonprofit’s social voice by coordinating multi-channel content creation, platform management, and audience engagement to educate about watershed work and mobilize action.

  • Social & content ownership: manage Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/YouTube and produce posts, reels, videos, and graphics highlighting watershed issues, events, volunteers, and calls to action.
  • Impact & optimization: track performance, analyze trends, optimize campaigns, and manage paid boosts within budget while cultivating community trust.
  • Web, SEO & signups: lead WordPress updates, create pages for campaigns and donations, ensure SEO/accessibility, and integrate signup/donation tools.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Create engaging, high-quality content (posts, reels, stories, videos, graphics) that highlights watershed issues, restoration successes, events, volunteer opportunities, and calls to action.
  • Track performance, analyze trends, and optimize campaigns
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns and boosted posts within budget.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner that builds community and trust.
  • Lead design improvements, and content updates for wordpress website.
  • Design and develop user-friendly web pages, landing pages, and features to support campaigns, events, donations, and educational resources.
  • Ensure SEO optimization, accessibility and functionality
  • Integrate tools for email sign-ups, event registration and donation processing.
  • Work with staff and partners to turn technical water quality and restoration information into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences including business, farmers, general public, and governmental.
