Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop content across formats—from newsletters and talking points to social media and web copy—tailored to specific audiences and channels
  • Lead visual storytelling by creating graphics, charts, and multimedia materials that make complex information accessible and compelling
  • Manage social media strategy through content development, scheduling, analytics monitoring, and community engagement using SproutSocial and similar platforms
  • Produce short-form video content for digital channels and community engagement using CapCut and multimedia tools
  • Coordinate deliverables across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to identify communications opportunities and solve challenges in real time

Requirements

  • Visual communication is your strength. You produce compelling graphics and visual content regularly, and you're comfortable with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
  • You write clearly and strategically for diverse audiences—from executive stakeholders to community members—and you know how to tailor tone and format
  • You have relevant experience in government communications, public affairs, community outreach, stakeholder engagement, or communications management at scale
  • You're organized and resourceful, thriving when priorities shift and deadlines compress
  • You engage authentically with diverse stakeholders and understand the stakes of community trust
