Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with program goals
Create culturally competent digital and print materials
Manage and update website content
Track and analyze communication performance metrics
Produce newsletters, social media campaigns, and public announcements
Lead storytelling initiatives (interviews, videography, photography)
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Support statewide outreach and awareness campaigns
Contribute to community education initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–5 years of experience in communications (public sector/nonprofit preferred)
Proficiency in Canva & Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Experience with analytics/metrics reporting
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills (portfolio required)
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA / Section 508) is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
