Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing integrated communications plans to support the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons line of business.
  • Collaborating with business and functional partners, government relations, and other communicators to create engaging content to influence stakeholders and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects including employee and executive communications, event support, visual content development, and external communications, at the same time.
  • Develop stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to business and functional leaders.
  • Support cross-business communication campaigns.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with customer public affairs professionals.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Proven, superior writing and editing experience
  • Excellent prioritization and time management
  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field from an accredited college
  • 5 years of professional experience in communications

Preferred

  • Content strategist with strong instincts and expertise influencing leadership decision making
  • Motivated self-starter who performs without appreciable direction and works effectively under competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experienced storyteller with the ability to turn highly technical, complex subjects into purposeful and easily-digestible content
  • Demonstrated experience leading large sophisticated communications campaigns
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Familiar with aerospace and defense industries
