Job Description

The Communications Coordinator will support the US Communications team across public relations, event execution and internal communications. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a passion for eyewear and brand storytelling.

(This role is part time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • PR Sample & Gifting Management
  • Oversee PR sample inventory, including tracking, organization, and timely shipment coordination; manage seasonal sample orders and ongoing gifting initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Media Monitoring & Reporting
  • Conduct daily monitoring of press and social media to track brand placements and identify new opportunities; support the development of coverage reports, internal updates, and performance recaps.
  • Content & Asset Coordination
  • Assist in content planning and maintain organization of creative assets for social media, newsletters, and broader communications needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams (marketing, sales, and global counterparts) to ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
  • Event Planning & Execution
  • Support the planning and execution of brand events, including showroom activations; provide hands-on, on-site support to ensure seamless execution.
  • Presentation & Internal Communications Support
  • Prepare presentation and internal communications materials to support team alignment and strategic initiatives.
  • Competitive Benchmarking & Insights
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform communications strategy and identify industry trends.
  • Operational & Logistical Support
  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including physical handling of materials (up to 25 lbs), to support events, shipments, and showroom needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Communications, PR or Marketing (fashion or luxury industry preferred)
  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools (i.e DMR)
