Job Summary
Own and execute PR activities from prospecting and media tracking to onsite coverage and asset management, while collaborating with the social and events teams to support Lincoln Center’s PR plan.
- Identify new press prospects and build media lists
- Provide onsite assistance at performances, events, and galas
- Coordinate photo workflows and DAM assets with the photography and social teams
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Conduct research to help identify new press prospects and build media contact lists.
- Draft and submit event listings and calendar pitches to outlets.
- Monitor, track, and compile press coverage across print, digital, and broadcast outlets.
- Occasionally help manage or track inquiries sent to pressoffice@lincolncenter.org ( under staff supervision)
- Provide onsite assistance at performances, events, and galas—from supporting press check-in, photography, broadcast camera shadowing, and interviews
- Assist with event preparation, including assembling face sheets, tip sheets, briefers, and run-of-show documents
- Capture simple b-roll footage using a phone during events as requested.
- Assist with creating and maintaining photography schedules, shot lists, and run-of-show documents.
- Support onsite photography needs.
- Generate digital waivers and help manage QR codes, DAM (Digital Asset Management) links, and other tools that support photo workflows.
Requirements
- A rising college junior or senior, recent grad, or equivalent
- Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
- Available to work 20 hours per week from February – May 2027
- A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
