Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Drafting occasional email content for my review, including newsletters, announcements, and campaign emails
  • Writing one or two SEO-optimized blog posts a month to increase digital visibility and engagement
  • Drafting social media copy (captions, hashtags, links, CTAs) across platforms
  • Assisting with formatting and light editing of long-form content (reports, testimony, explainers, etc.)
  • Create branded graphics using existing templates and assets, including:
  • Quote cards
  • Data/stat visuals
  • Carousels
  • Event and campaign graphics
  • Produce 8–10 custom graphics per month that require more original design work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Policy, or Social Media Management.
  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in communications, digital media, social media management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, with the ability to create engaging, on-brand visual content.
  • Proficiency in website management platforms such as Webflow, with the ability to update and maintain web content.
  • Experience using social media management tools, including Sprout Social, to schedule content, track performance, and manage engagement.
  • Strong working knowledge of design tools such as Canva and data visualization platforms like Infogram.
  • Familiarity with project management systems such as ClickUp to organize tasks, manage workflows, and collaborate with team members.
