Responsibilities

• The City of Beavercreek is seeking a full-time Communications Director, reporting directly to the City Manager. This role is responsible for the hands-on development and management of all community communication channels. The Director will oversee traditional and digital communications, marketing, public affairs, media relations, and multi-media productions, while managing overall City branding, executing publications to advance a positive image of the City.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, public relations, public administration, or a related field, though a Master’s degree is preferred.
• at least three (3) years of experience in public administration, business management, journalism, mass media communications, or public relations, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred

• Master’s degree is preferred.
