Responsibilities

• The Senior Manager, Communications, leads the development and execution of strategic local communication plans by collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• This role advises on local comms strategies, effective messaging, manages communication distribution, and evaluates plan effectiveness through established metrics.
• The position drives innovation by integrating industry best practices and supports business objectives by aligning communication strategies with financial and operational goals.
• Additionally, the Senior Manager fosters strong team dynamics, ensures compliance with company policies, and promotes a culture of integrity and continuous improvement to advance organizational success.
• Develop and implement strategic communication plans in collaboration with team members and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between the local team and Community Relations, US Manufacturing, Giving, and other key partners.
• Support re-grand openings and new store storytelling.
• Develop and lead measurement as well as report-outs to business partners.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Contribute to industry benchmarking and best practice adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 4 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area OR 6 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Politics, journalism, or relevant area, Working in a corporate retail or Fortune 100 environment
