Job Summary

Support CMTA’s communications by coordinating social content across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and by producing multimedia assets and event materials to raise awareness and engagement.

  • Own social content scheduling, engagement tracking, and trend research to expand online presence.
  • Support video/photo production, including on-device capture and multimedia content creation for digital channels.
  • Assist with planning/promoting events such as the Coolest Thing Made in California and deliver performance summaries for campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities - Assist with social media content creation and management across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, including: - Working with the Vice President of Communications, drafting and scheduling posts in accordance with the content calendar - Designing graphics and visual assets - Monitoring engagement and tracking analytics - Identifying creative ways to expand CMTA’s online presence - Research trends and content ideas to keep messaging fresh and relevant - Support video production and photography projects, including: - Capturing and organizing photos for communications use (on a cell phone) - Developing multimedia content for digital platforms - Provide communications and administrative support, including: - Formatting newsletters using existing templates - Updating media and contact lists - Organizing photo and video files - Assist with planning and promoting CMTA events and special projects, including: - The annual “Coolest Thing Made in California” competition - Drafting promotional materials and event graphics - On-site support - Track basic analytics and compile performance summaries for campaigns and timelines
