Own and coordinate corporate events and enterprise communications across leadership meetings and all-hands, driving planning, vendor management, and post-event learning.

  • Event ownership: lead planning, logistics, and execution.
  • Budget and vendor management: monitor costs and partner with external vendors.
  • On-call crisis communications: support emergency communications across evenings and weekends.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination & Execution: Lead major corporate events including in-person leadership meetings and hybrid all-coworker business updates.
  • Agenda & Logistics Partnership: Collaborate with department and cross-functional leaders to plan event agendas and logistics.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure high-quality event execution.
  • Budget & Compliance: Monitor event budgets and ensure all financial aspects are handled according to company policies.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Collect feedback and participate in the evaluation of events to improve future initiatives.
  • Enterprise Communications & On-Call Support: Partner with other functional areas to ensure clear enterprise communications and participate in on-call rotation for emergency response communications, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development Diploma
  • 5 years of job-related experience
  • CA Class C License, or equivalent
  • Record of Clean Driving

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in event planning or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in planning and executing events.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Certified Meeting Planner Professional (CMP).
  • Experience in corporate environments.
  • Ability to create engaging visual presentations for various audiences.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for event planning and execution.
