Job Summary

Own and drive communications planning and project workflows end to end, partnering with Creative Studio and client teams to deliver multi-channel materials across newsletters, case studies, videos, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of communications plans and strategies to meet client objectives and goals
  • Interact and collaborate with team members, and clients through written communications, meetings, and collaborative work platforms
  • Manage the development of creative materials, working in coordination with our Creative Studio’s designers, editors, internal program team, and clients on a variety of products including newsletters, fact sheets, videos, case studies, social media content, emails, and websites
  • Coordinate project workflows, deliverable trackers, timelines, progress reports, and meeting materials.
  • Provide support, coordination and development of strategic plans and presentations
  • Support planning and executing events, meetings, and workshops
  • Manage multiple deliverables at once, with varying deadlines using Microsoft Office and other collaboration tools including Teams, Trello, Sharepoint, SmartSheets, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, required (e.g., communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, or related field)
  • 3+ years of professional marketing communications experience; transportation communications or marketing experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of traditional and social media environments; understanding of various communication channels and how they work (print, social, digital, paid media, events and outreach, direct response, etc.)
  • An understanding of email management systems, email content strategy and analytics, and email platforms such as GovDelivery, MailChimp, Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Willingness for moderate travel as needed
  • Energetic, self-starter, and resourceful problem solver with a demonstrated can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
