Responsibilities

• Manages e-newsletter and social media communications to ensure alignment with the communications strategy
• Serves as the project coordinator for storytelling strategic initiatives (Stories of Stevenson), as identified through the communications strategy
• Assists in managing and prioritizing projects in alignment with the team's editorial calendar
• Monitors and leverages analytics to guide the team’s response to communications needs and ultimately maintain good engagement across channels
• Monitors direct messaging channels (email and social media) to ensure questions are addressed and conversations meet our community standards
• Assists the Director of Communications with issues management, when necessary

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Design, Communications, or related field (Required)
• Expertise with various e-newsletters and social media platforms required
• Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills required
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to work effectively with all members of the Stevenson community
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional discretion
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining websites through content management systems preferred
• Working knowledge of HTML and other software programs preferred
