Duties

• Engage with residents through canvassing to promote organizational initiatives and gather support
• Communicate clearly and persuasively to explain the purpose of campaigns and answer questions
• Build rapport with community members, fostering trust and enthusiasm for our cause
• Collect signatures
• Coordinate with team members to strategize effective canvassing routes and schedules
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, responses, and collected data
• Assist in training new team members on canvassing techniques and communication best practices

Experience

• Supervising experience or leadership roles in community outreach or sales environments preferred
• Strong background in marketing, customer service, or sales activities
• Experience with door-to-door canvassing or telemarketing highly valued
• Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse communities are a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and persuade confidently
• Proven success in fundraising or advocacy campaigns is advantageous
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, active environment demonstrating adaptability and resilience
