Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent Apollo’s real estate solutions for the Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) platform with the aim of driving strategic AUM growth for relevant strategies.
  • Inform and deliver content and messaging tailored to the GWMS investor base.
  • Understand and analyze market dynamics and innovate with respect to driving business development.
  • Engage with the GWMS sales and National Accounts teams in order to support the ongoing distribution of the platform externally.
  • Provide intelligence on investor sentiment and competitive landscape, which can inform product and platform messaging
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategy for new product launches.
  • Constantly seek to build relationships, gaining a thorough understanding of investors’ internal approval processes and how new products fit in the context of their overall portfolios.
  • Utilize breadth of asset class knowledge to lead a wide range of client dialogues with investors.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of industry experience
  • Deep understanding of private real estate including both credit and equity, public and private markets
  • Strong understanding of alternative asset management, how global, diversified firms operate, and how product distribution / fundraising works
  • Strong understanding of various investment products including traditional drawdown funds as well as non-traded REITs and other semi-liquid, evergreen vehicles
  • This individual must offer very strong analytical capabilities matched with a strong commercial lens, which will support the individual’s ability to engage in strategic discussions with the global wealth investor base
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills must be highly developed and refined in this individual’s current responsibilities
  • Experience in business development, strategy, research, and synthesis of research findings
  • Strong ability to multi-task and pivot between research, analysis, and written communication of findings
  • Self-starter with strong ability to think independently, strategically, and outside-the-box to generate new potential organic growth opportunities
