Responsibilities
- Legal and Compliance Accountability: Maintain all legal and marketing code guidelines
- Channel and Competitive Intelligence
- Evaluate effectiveness of in-market programming, activations, and advocacy initiatives
- Monitor competitor supplier activity, including programming strategies, promotions, sponsorships, incentives, and trade engagement
- Identify emerging trends in cocktail culture and hospitality experiences
- Synthesize market findings into actionable insights for commercial planning, customer strategy, portfolio priorities, and brand investment decisions
- Deliver regular market reporting, recaps, and strategic recommendations to leadership
- Partner with commercial teams to inform channel strategy for two markets
- Identify whitespace opportunities and competitive vulnerabilities in the on-premise channel
- Manage and develop Advocacy Leads and foster cross-team collaboration
Requirements
- Based within a 30-minute commuting distance of either market
- Travel up to 25%
- 6+ years of experience in beverage alcohol, spirits, hospitality, commercial strategy, brand advocacy, or channel marketing
- Strong understanding of the on-premise channel and hospitality ecosystems
- Experience evaluating trade programming and competitive activity
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear commercial recommendations
- Strong budget management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel monthly including nights and weekends; reliable transportation
- Role requires monthly travel including nights and weekends; must have reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Prior people management experience preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
