Job Summary

Own and orchestrate community events that connect tenants, guests, and local partners to drive visibility and commerce for the Plaza and AC Hotel Greenville.

  • Event ownership: build and manage the annual events calendar and calendar-based programming across property stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder orchestration: align hotel ops, property partners, retailers, and community leaders to plan, promote, and execute events that move engagement and foot traffic.
  • Performance and governance: track budgets, payments, and event metrics to support business objectives and compliance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Plaza Events Manager plans and executes community events that generate positive public relations, build community relationships, and increase market awareness — advancing the mission and goals of both Camperdown Plaza owners/tenants and AC Hotel Greenville.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that deepen AC Hotel Greenville's community impact.
  • Take initiative to build relationships with community leaders and organizations to create a vibrant events calendar.
  • Maintain open communication with retailers, office tenants, residential partners, and community stakeholders regarding upcoming events, opportunities for collaboration, and property activities.
  • Work with Auro Hotels and Camperdown Owners to plan, communicate, and execute community events that serve all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event scheduling with hotel operations (sales, banquets, rooms) and Camperdown partners (Trinity, CBRE, Security, Parking/Valet).
  • Manage event logistics including parking, pedestrian traffic, noise, maintenance, permitting, and public safety.
  • Purchase and maintain event supplies, equipment, and materials (sound system, signage, etc.).
  • Promote the events calendar and Camperdown news in accordance with company standards.
  • Promote events through email, social media, website, and VGSC

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of PR or event experience with a proven track record in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Graphics (Canva)/Social Media Experience
  • Basic math skills for invoicing and budget management
  • Hospitality experience highly recommended
