Job Description

Company Description

Research Warrant is an audience intelligence company that helps media companies, record labels, studios, and brands identify where real audience demand exists for their content — before they spend on distribution or paid campaigns. Powered by Cerebro, our proprietary AI platform, we deploy short-form content across a managed network of 5,000+ social accounts to generate genuine behavioral signals at scale, then feed those signals back into our model to continuously sharpen predictions. The result is top-funnel marketing that builds warm, high-intent audiences before campaigns launch rather than reaching cold audiences after. We've generated over 1 billion views for clients including Universal Music Group.

Role Description

This is an in-office Business Development Intern role based in South Florida, supporting Research Warrant's growth across the media, music, and entertainment verticals. The intern will conduct market research on prospective enterprise clients (labels, studios, streaming platforms, brand advertisers), build and qualify outbound lead lists, support outreach sequences, and help prepare materials for client meetings and pitches. The role also involves tracking industry trends in short-form content, AI marketing infrastructure, and the broader attention economy, and collaborating cross-functionally with the strategy and platform teams to refine go-to-market motions. This is a high-ownership seat for someone who wants direct exposure to enterprise sales inside an AI-native media company.

Compensation & Academic Credit

This is a paid internship. We're also able to coordinate with your university to fulfill college credit hours, and can work with your academic advisor on hour requirements, learning objectives, and any required evaluations.

Qualifications

  • Based in or able to reliably commute to our South Florida office
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize market data into clear insights
  • Experience or strong interest in lead generation, account research, and outbound prospecting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — comfortable drafting outreach and briefing documents
  • Genuine interest in the media, music, entertainment, or AI/marketing tech sectors
  • Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented; comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving company
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or enrichment tools (Apollo, Clay) is a strong plus
