Job Summary

Own the coordination of communications and business development activities in a design studio, shaping external storytelling, bid responses, and project marketing while aligning with internal teams and outside collaborators to win opportunities.

  • Communications enablement: brochures, portfolios, external presentations, awards, website/social updates, press inquiries, and marketing assets.
  • Business development workflow: Go/No Go summaries, bid portal monitoring, and qualifications packages and proposals.
  • Special projects: coordinating exhibitions, talks, essays, books, and events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Communications: Creating brochures, portfolios, and external presentations. Also responsible for assisting with award submissions, website and social media, press inquiries, and updating and coordinating project information, data, and marketing assets.
  • Business Development: Producing Go/No Go summaries and recommendations, reviewing and monitoring new inquiries and external bid portals for relevant project opportunities, and supporting qualifications packages and project proposals.
  • Special Projects & Initiatives: Coordinating exhibitions, lectures and talks, essays, books, and events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a business development, marketing, or communications-related position
  • Bachelor’s degree or above (degree in landscape architecture, urban design, architecture, graphic design, planning, marketing, communications, or equivalent is strongly recommended)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong graphic skills
  • Excellent English language written and communication skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work fluidly across different working styles and perspectives, both within the studio and with outside collaborators
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, and Photoshop (video creation and editing a plus)

Preferred

  • Video creation and editing experience.
