Responsibilities

• Lead/participate in discovery: stakeholder interviews, competitive/category scans, customer and cultural research  and synthesis into actionable insights.
• Translate complexity into clear strategic outputs: positioning, messaging architecture, value proposition frameworks, brand narrative and go-to-market direction.
• Build practical strategic frameworks that teams can use (not just admire).
• Write inspiring, specific, strategically sharp creative briefs (and guide teams through the “why” behind them).
• Collaborate tightly with creative, client leads and cross-functional partners from kickoff through delivery, pressure-testing ideas against strategy while protecting the big idea.
• Plan and facilitate workshops (discovery, positioning, messaging, brand purpose, campaign/platform working sessions).
• Present with confidence and clarity, leading discussions, navigating differing opinions and earning alignment without ego.
• Define what success looks like (KPIs, signals, qualitative/quantitative measures), support measurement plans and convert results into learning and iteration.
• Contribute to our strategic POVs, tools, and ways of working.
• Elevate the quality bar across deliverables.

Requirements

• 3–10 years experience in brand strategy/strategic planning (brand consultancy, creative agency, integrated agency or equivalent).
• Strong command of foundational strategy outputs: research synthesis, positioning, messaging, brand narrative and creative brief writing.
• Excellent communication skills: writing, presenting and workshopping with creatives and clients.
• Experience running (or co-running) workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• A portfolio of strategic thinking that shows both rigor and usefulness (case studies, frameworks, briefs, messaging work, etc.).
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams and making smart tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with regulated environments: claims substantiation mindset, legal/regulatory review workflows and balancing creativity with compliance.

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare / medical device / pharma brand marketing (B2B, B2C, HCP, patient, DTC; any mix).
• Experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, clinical, R&D, sales, product, training, medical affairs).
