Job Summary

Own end-to-end product innovation and portfolio stewardship for assigned segments, turning consumer insights into validated concepts that launch and sustain growth.

  • Innovation & Pipeline: Prioritize opportunities using market research, consumer data, and trends to shape a forward-looking roadmap.
  • Portfolio Integration: Align initiatives with brand guardrails and commercial targets.
  • Go-To-Market & Validation: Drive concept validation, cross-functional readiness, and launch storytelling with Sales and Marketing.

Job Description

  • Innovation Pipeline: Prioritize opportunities using market research, consumer data, and trends to shape a forward-looking roadmap.
  • 3-Year Roadmap: Maintain a forward-looking 3-year innovation and product roadmap aligned to portfolio strategy, brand priorities, and segment growth objectives.
  • Ideation & Workshops: Facilitate ideation sessions to explore new platforms, formats, blends, flavors, packaging options, and product extensions.
  • Concept Development: Develop product concepts with clear consumer value propositions and validate via qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Design Briefs & Prototyping: Translate approved concepts into detailed product design briefs; partner with R&D to prototype, conduct sensory testing, and refine formulations.
  • External Partners & Feasibility: Leverage external consultants, suppliers, and co-manufacturers as needed to support product exploration, feasibility, and development.
  • Validation & Testing: Lead or support consumer testing to validate product fit to concept, overall acceptance, purchase intent, and optimization opportunities.
  • Portfolio Alignment: Ensure product and innovation initiatives align with portfolio architecture, brand guardrails, segment priorities, and commercial objectives.
  • Go-To-Market & Launch Readiness: Partner with Sales and Marketing to support go-to-market readiness, including selling stories and launch materials.
  • Performance Tracking: Track post-launch product performance, consumer feedback, and market trends to evaluate product effectiveness and optimize where needed.
