Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Brand Merchandising 3 professional responsible for supporting channel-level merchandising strategy, assortment planning, and product allocation for the soccer business. This role partners closely with Product, Merchandising, and Sales teams to ensure consumer-right assortments, marketplace differentiation, and profitable retail execution.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, possesses strong marketplace awareness, and demonstrates advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to drive assortment planning, optimize product allocation, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver effective merchandising strategies that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Assortment Planning

  • Support channel-level merchandising strategy for the soccer business.
  • Develop and execute assortment plans that align with consumer demand and marketplace opportunities.
  • Ensure assortments deliver appropriate segmentation, differentiation, and incremental business growth.
  • Finalize assortment plans, pricing, product flow, and distribution decisions.
  • Optimize product placement across retail channels to maximize profitability and consumer experience.
  • Support product allocation activities across key accounts.

Consumer Insights & Marketplace Strategy

  • Utilize consumer insights and marketplace trends to support merchandising decisions.
  • Analyze market opportunities and recommend assortment strategies.
  • Ensure product offerings align with evolving consumer needs and business priorities.
  • Support Go-to-Market (GTM) planning and execution initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product, Merchandising, and Sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of merchandising strategies.
  • Present assortment recommendations and business updates to internal teams.
  • Support execution from assortment planning through retail floor implementation.

Business Execution

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across merchandising activities.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel for assortment planning, reporting, and business analysis.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (not required).
  • Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Assortment Planning, Retail Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting product assortment, allocation, and merchandising execution.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business teams.
