  • Manage outreach, partnerships, and PR for emerging designers and collaborators

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand Marketing Strategy & Digital Channels: Develop and execute Vitruvius Collective's digital brand communications strategy, building a consistent voice and visual identity across vscollective.net, Instagram (@vitruviusnyfw), and LinkedIn
  • Own the marketing calendar around the NYFW cycle — S/S and F/W season announcements, designer lineup reveals, show-week coverage, and post-show recaps — plus other key industry moments
  • Grow the brand's audience across channels; track engagement and performance and iterate based on the data
  • Continually strengthen brand storytelling on the website and across all brand touchpoints
  • Designer & Partner Communications: Manage brand partnership communications, serving as the day-to-day contact for designer outreach and client/partner coordination (runway production partners, media partners, collaborators)
  • Develop outreach materials, partnership one-pagers, and onboarding communications for emerging designers joining each season's lineup
  • Coordinate collaboration announcements and cross-promotion with designers and partners before, during, and after show weeks
  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Plan and execute integrated campaigns supporting the emerging designer platform tied to key industry moments — season announcements, designer spotlights, event/RSVP pushes, and recap content — across web, social, and LinkedIn
  • Draft campaign briefs, manage timelines and asset delivery (lookbooks, runway imagery, Reels), and coordinate execution with designers, photographers, and videographers
  • PR & Media Relations: Execute PR and media relations for platform collaborations and show seasons: build fashion and culture media lists, draft pitches, press releases, designer fact sheets, and Q&As

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or comparable with concentrated coursework in marketing strategy, analytics, branding, and emerging marketing trends
  • [1–3] years of experience in communications, marketing, or media relations (agency or in-house)
  • A strong writer across formats: pitches, press releases, social captions, and web copy
  • Solid media relations instincts — list building, pitching, monitoring, reporting — ideally with fashion, lifestyle, or culture press
  • Analytics-minded: comfortable defining KPIs, reading performance data, and adjusting course
  • Culturally fluent and genuinely invested in fashion week culture, emerging designers, and the creative economy
  • A highly organized self-starter who can run several workstreams at once against immovable deadlines
  • Comfortable in the tools this role lives in: Squarespace (website), Instagram/Reels, LinkedIn, Canva or Adobe CC, and media databases like Muck Rack or Cision
