Job Summary

Drive brand strategy and trusted messaging for Oceanwing’s North American Healthy category, turning shopper insights into credible, compliant positioning.

  • Must-have: US PST-hours availability and fully native English copy for local positioning and PDP messaging.
  • Standout: Deep capability to translate insight into execution-ready outputs (positioning, RTB, creative briefs).

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own US consumer insight & demand positioning
  • Build a deep understanding of Healthy-category shoppers: motivations, anxieties, trust barriers, usage occasions, and decision journeys.
  • Create repeatable frameworks (segmentation, JTBD, occasion mapping, competitor/substitute mapping, review & social theme analysis).
  • Build brand strategy & trust narrative
  • Define brand fundamentals: positioning, value proposition, brand personality, RTBs (reasons to believe), and clear boundaries (what we won’t claim/do).
  • Establish “credible communication” principles: evidence hierarchy, objection handling, risk-sensitive language, and an expert-yet-human voice.
  • Create KUC & messaging architecture
  • Produce a message house (core promise → supporting pillars → proof points → occasion-led storytelling → FAQs).
  • Turn messaging into Amazon-native content systems: PDP image hierarchy, A+ modules, Brand Story, comparison charts, video scripts/voiceover, and Store structure.
  • Influence product direction (with product/sourcing)

Requirements

  • US-based and able to work PST hours consistently (West Coast location strongly preferred).
  • Native-level English (writing + speaking). You can independently craft positioning docs, core claims, FAQs, PDP messaging, and video/creator scripts that read as truly local (not translated).
  • Strong command of mainstream US consumer context and what builds credibility in Healthy categories; you can spot language that triggers skepticism, backlash, or compliance risk and replace it with trust-building alternatives.
  • 5+ years in brand strategy, brand marketing, content strategy, or product storytelling; experience in wellness/supplements/personal care/OTC/functional foods is a plus.
  • Ability to convert insight into execution-ready outputs: positioning, message house, RTB framework, creative briefs, content QA standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
  • Sound judgment around claims, evidence, and compliance-sensitive communication; comfortable partnering with Legal/Compliance.

Preferred

  • Built a brand from 0→1 or supported a new category launch in the US.
  • Strong familiarity with Amazon content ecosystem (PDP patterns, A+ best practices, review context, Brand Store).
  • Hands-on experience in user research, social listening, and review mining.
